New Year

The last month and a half have been absolutely crazy for me. I work in retail which meant that I didn't have any time to blog over the holidays. This was NOT what I wanted. I had these grand plans to create and blog some really great recipes for the holidays, but alas it wasn't able to.

My time away has given me time to think about my goals for this blog and about the different cuisines I've always wanted to learn how to cook but haven't had the time to teach myself. So, without bogging this down here are my goals for this year.

1. Be consistent!

Thats right friends, I will be posting regularly about my culinary explorations and creations this year. My goal is to post at least once a week. Get ready.

2. Learn and master new dishes!

One of the best things about food is there is always a new ingredient to try, technique to master, and something to learn! I want 2015 to be a year of delicious learning!

3. Continue to brew new beers/ciders and begin to develop my own recipes.

Not only do I want to get better at brewing I also want to explore cooking with them. In the brewing process there is a lot of bi products produced. (extra grains, yeast) These bi products are screaming to be used in breads and even some other potential dishes. Here's to experimenting!

This is going to be a great year! Lets get cooking!
